Eric Aron has set his musical path in a very original shape. Starting from a full classical education, he first wanted to be a classical performer, before discovering his writing and improvisation way. Appealed by nearly every kind of music, he explored the main currents. This eclectic way, combined with a strong interest in sciences, spiritualities, and visual technologies, created his own particular expression. On this multi experienced way he has written many different styles, from pianos concertos to liturgic symphonies, passing by jazz trios, trance and electronic music, meditation and therapeutic programs, middle east and asiatic world music.
He creates an unique style, mostly combining piano, his main instrument, with symphonic landscapes and electronic sounds. His music generates deep emotions and a rich imagery, taking the listener outside the usual boundaries. His quest recalls the ancient alchemists, devoted to find the perfect harmony. An artist in search for the dialogue with infinite, from macrocosm to microcosm. An artist in quest of pure music, the deities language, expressing the spheres harmony.
About improvisation, he follows the way of Friedrich Gulda and Keith Jarrett, among the very few who have committed themselves on a stage, starting from a blank page. This particular state of realtime reception and formal organization is very demanding in every aspect. The result has to be music, not random sounds. This difficult art represents one of the quintessences all great composers have talked about.
His language remains tonal, in the continuation of composers like Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Ravel, Prokofiev, Part.
Touching the mystery of inspiration and creation.. Attempting a dialogue between man and the cosmos.. Searching for answers about our origins, and the reasons to be here.. Building a high sense of life value.. Respecting our planet as our common home and mother.. Being grateful for the so beautiful lifeforms..
All this is connected to music. And music is connected to all this. Music is the language of harmony.
